About Rhodes

Rhodes island is situated in the south eastern part of the Aegean Sea and is the largest island of the Dodecanese. Rhodes boasts on an average 300 days of sunshine per year, thus also named the island of Sun.

Rhodes, is of enormous interest both for its natural beauties and for its archaeological treasures. With its marvelous climate and excellent tourist infrastructure, it is suitable for holidays all year round. Its capital, the magnificent medieval city of Rhodes, is the capital of the prefecture of the Dodecanese. Rhode’s Medielval City (Old Town) has been proclaimed as a monument of global heritage by UNESCO.

Miles of sandy and pebble beaches, beautiful harbors, a sea of impressive depth, unique white villages, archaeological monuments and beautiful ruins from all periods of time are the main hallmarks of this beautiful island. On one of these sandy beaches, one may find Stegna Bay, only 30 kms from Rhodes Town on the east coast, and 1km from the village of Archangellos.

If one chooses to stay in Stegna Bay, they may enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters.
